Saint Paul's choir 2003 - photo by Phil Steels Levi Gill - member of St Paul's choir in the 1920s. Photo by Mr D Wilkinson Stalybridge Harmonic Society with conductor Samuel Garlick (centre) outside St Paul's School. According to Samuel Hill's "Bygone Stalybridge", Rev. W.W. Hoare, St Paul's first vicar, was a keen supporter of the Society.

Tribute to Reginald Hopwood who died August 29, 1957 - a member of this choir for 30 years - and also his son, Charles Burman Hopwood who died 3rd April 1956 - a choir boy at this church. Tribute to Harold Gosling, died 9 February 1958. Church warden and for 50 years a member of St Paul's choir.

Plaque on the organ reads: The original organ was presented to the church by James Wilkinson of Brookfield House, Esq. Plaque on the organ reads: To the greater glory of God, this organ was completely restored in loving memory of John Lawton Esq. of Thornleigh, Stalybridge by his sister Mrs. L Warhurst, November 30th 1930.
Plaque on the organ reads: The new blowing apparatus, the gift in gratitude to Almighty God of Alderman Greenwood, J.P. was dedicated on September 6th 1936.
Plaque on the organ reads: The cost of the enlargement of this organ and of placing it in the Chancel, AD 1874, was defrayed by Ralph Bates of Cocker Hill, Thomas Harrison of West Hill, Robert Wilkinson of Huyton and James J Wilkinson of Brookfield House, Esq.
